| Laptop won't boot at all. Power/battery indicators light, hard drive makes a little noise, but OS doesn't come up and display doesn't come on. Prior to failure to boot, laptop would freeze up intermittently and would not start back up consistently. Sometimes after freezing, when booting up I would get a message that the system had shut down because the internal operating temperature had become too high. This didn't make much sense to me since at the time I was using the laptop, it was sitting on a smooth flat table and I didn't see any impediment to ventilation or cooling. Note: I'd like all replaced defective parts returned to me. |
