| Hello,
I have a Sony Vaio PCG-GRT150 Laptop which is no longer working.
History and symptoms are as follows:
I only use the Laptop while away for a week or so at a time, maybe 4 times a year. Don't know if it is related or not, but on several occasions I remember the Laptop shutting down or restarting (don't remember which) for no apparent reason. Last time I used it was fine, shut it down, left charging overnight and packed it away in case the next morning.
Opened it up about 3 weeks later and not working. Green Power Light comes on and Battery lights blink as if recharging. Hard Drive and Fan spin up but I have blank screen, no post sounds or apparent Hard Drive seek. I've tried reseating Memory without any change.
Please advise if this sounds like something you can repair and possible costs involved.
