| After several months of the notebook intermittenly turning off, the power adapter no longer charges the batter or powers the notebook. A new power adapter has not effect and appears that the problem is a faulty dc connector jack. The notebook works fine on battery power can not pull power from an ac power adapter.
I am looking to have a repair quoted that involves only the system board. I will send only the system board, not the entire notebook which should save you considerable time in having to disassemble the unit. |
