| I believe the fan needs replacement (I actually have the new fan part) as the computer generates quite a bit of noise in the fan area after it warms up. Also, discovered that heat sink adhesive (or adhesive tape) is no longer present (the clip holding the sink in place does appear fine but the lack of adhesive is apparent). Would like to have the heat sink secure and the fan replaced. I did not want to change it our myself after I realized it appears to connect under the mother board. Can I remove the hard drive before I submit the computer for repair? Thanks. |
